The market is currently flooded with different gins so to introduce another to the number seems like an imprudent move. However, London-based Edgerton has launched a new gin with one startling difference that will distinguish it from its competitors - its bright pink.
The new vivid addition will be London's first pink gin, and comes just in time for the festive period. But with its 47% volume consumers shouldn't be fooled by this gin's traditionally feminine colouring. They key element that gives the gin it's distinctive colour is pomegranate. Other ingredients include coriander, angelica, juniper, orris root, sweet orange peel, cassia bark and nutmeg. They are all steeped together for 24 hours before they are distilled in pure grain spirit.
Edgerton prides itself on being one of the only gin brands distilled in London. |
