Kraft Foods will be cutting 200 jobs in the UK. The cuts will affect the companies sites in Bournville, Chirk and Marlbrook. The job losses will be made through redeployment and voluntary redundancies carried out over a two year period as of March 2012.

The company say that they are planning to invest £50m in former Cadbury plants and that they intend to minimise the impacts of the job cuts.

In 2009 long-standing British company, Cadbury's was brought out by the US food manufacturer in a controversial £11.5bn takeover.
