Law Print & Packaging Management Ltd announce that they have now completed the purchase of the Qbag business from FFP Packaging Solutions Ltd. The acquisition included the Qbag business, trademark, intellectual property, pending patents, website and manufacturing machinery.  

According to Tim Law, Managing Director of Law Print & Packaging Ltd, the Qbag manufacturing machinery will be re-sited to a new production facility and the award winning Qbag will be re-launched internationally within six months. Qbag Ltd has been formed as a subsidiary of Law Print & Packaging Ltd to promote the Qbag product internationally from a Stockport based HQ. Tim Law explained: “The acquisition of the Qbag business represents thenext stage of our strategic growth plans. We are excited about this innovative product and look forward to working with existing customers and developing new routes to market”.

FFP Packaging Solutions Ltd originally designed and developed the Qbag packaging concept and solution which subsequently led to further packaging innovations. Early customers included Marks & Spencer, Sainsbury, Waitrose and Lakeland.

The Qbag product has won a Starpack competition award as well as a “technical innovation” award. The product also went on to win a prestigious DuPont packaging innovation award.
