Nigel Glendenning has joined Multivac UK as the company’s Technical Support Engineer for Northern Ireland. The post is a new one for the company. 

He will be responsible throughout Northern Ireland for servicing, chamber machine sales and the promotion of spare part sales and service contracts. Nigel will also carry a wide range of spare parts to ensure that he will frequently be able to repair machines on the spot.

Nigel had worked for nine years as a maintenance technician at one of the largest food factories in Ireland, which itself used several Multivac machines. The company feels his experience will give him an excellent awareness of the issues manufacturers face on a daily basis.

He will also have a table top vacuum packer with him as he travels to enable him to carry out demonstrations on customers’ premises. He will also be able to leave the machine with a customer where necessary, while their own machine is be repaired.
