Tesco drops Christmas prices
Tesco drops Christmas prices | fmcgnews, tesco, shopping, christmas retail,

As the retailers continue to battle in earnest for the consumer's favour in the run up to Christmas, Britain's largest retailer Tesco has upped the anti by dropping their prices once more in a bid to best its rivals.

The price drop promotion was first unveiled in October, when the giant pledged to cut £500million in prices ranging over 1, 000 items. A rprice has not yet been put on the extended Christmas drop, but The Telegraph reports that it will be mostly on food items.

The company say they believe the key to their success over rivals is the introduction of its interest-free credit on electrical goods, enabling customers to pay for their purchases over instalments.
